This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. As sounds played back their pitch and sample rate changed depending on the amplitude of the sound. . . Pretty cool effect i figured. . . "man i gotta record that and use it!" so here it is!.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.

Recorded using my dr-40, a stereo recording of the inside of my freezer allowing for a cool hum. As for credit, no need, enjoy.

This is a recording of an low open e string on an acoustic guitar that has been paulstretched. I think it sounds really cool.

Created with pink noise, sweeping phaser and stretching effect. The phaser in cool edit has funny preset called bubbles which gives unique sound to this effect.

It's a grooving bassline that goes with the beat in 3's. Piano, guitar and strings are added for extra cool agent 666 effect. Could be usefull for anything cool!. A plugin that couldn't handle that amount of distortion i was running through it, the result was this cool sample so not complaining.

I created this sample by recording rain sound on my zoom recorder and then using a harmonic sound effect in cool edit pro. Great for sound design, film music, and weird compositions.

Recorded myself waking on some leaves. Sound also pans from left to right speaker, pretty cool effect i was expecting to get from my taskam recorder.

I made a bass-line on a doublebass that i played around with. Like the fact that it's groovy and a bit dark. Added a drumbeat i made that i think suited the bass-line. An interesting sound from a house we were staying at. The outdoor exhaust for the clothes dryer made this jet like noise, particularly when the microphone was moved around it. There are some bird and mower noises in the background, but this really just wants to be the basis for some cool sound design jets, whooshes, turbines, etc. Play with it and make something cool. Recorded with a zoom h1n, 24-bit, 48khz, stereo. Cleaned up a bit in izotope rx.
