I searched for a long time to find a jaws harp sample and eventually found one and successfully extracted a few notes from a very old appalachian folk song field recording, well out of copyright. I sampled a single note, which then fed ok into a midi keyboard, allowing me to effectively play jews harp melodies. The result was pretty ok.

Secondary dominant with barbershop seventh chords. V/V - V - I in F major (G7-C7-F). Derived from [1]. In just intonation. Sevenths are harmonic sevenths, and the F in the first measure is 27.26 cents lower than the F in the third measure. Pitch bend matches intervals.

This is a tone that i generated using my electric fender strat through one of my vintage amplifiers in my studio. Works well as a sample for composing soundscapes with it - i've used these tones in maschine and other sequencing/midi based instruments to create some interesting orchestral arrangements with the tones.

Created from ableton's stock instrument "light key". Created a midi, freezed and flattened, added automation effects added some lfo, some eq re arranged the echo effect to fit what i thought, and just saved it as this.

MIDI of "Ut Queant Laxis", an 8th century hymn best known for being the basis for Ut-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La, later modified to the familiar Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti. Each line begins with a note that moves up the scale from Do to La (Ti not being used in music of that period).

This wav file is a take-away from a midi track my current project. The vst instrument is 4front e-piano and it's free! - the root key is g major, starting off in the piano roll at g3. The bottom drops to g2 and uses heavy steps, separated by a key to reach g2. Going back up to g3, the notes are shortened and no keys are skipped. Hence the fairytale stares ascents. The ceiling above g3 is g5. So 1 octave down, 2 up. The tight stairstep is maintained above g3. There is just downward notes to keep it sounding like a saw form. The entire sound should be in-key and loopable. Each of the 16 bars is unique. I didn't just copy and paste the same notes several times. - my next step is to apply a different midi sound.
