A weird heavy choppy riff which can probably be chopped up into one longer piece to set something tense.

Line from a song i spent a lot of time on when i was starting out, never figured out what to do with it.

Two chords and a 3 note melody processed in music maker's cinematic synth for high drama.

A combination of three different pads with a deep, reverbating sound.

A 40-bpm drum loop created in fl studio. Basic moody drum loop with some toms providing a framework for you to build on. Tom notes are a4, c5, d5.

An "intro" version of my instrumental "bunny hop". Has more energy than the original. Cut and crafted to be used as a sort of intro or transition music for film, documentary, podcasts, etc.

Imagine a battered spacecraft with the hull creaking, the engine room banging, and the crew weary of endless space without a horizon.

I live next to a train track which at night can have a very moody atmosphere, listening to them whizzing by. These are both passenger and freight trains. All the sounds were recorded over the span of half an hour.

I own a guitar which is a sort of cross between a classical and an acoustic. I'm playing a simple emaj to fmaj accompaniment and noodling over the top trying to sound vaguely spanish. Recorded mono with a rode nt5 condenser microphone.

Rotary style of effect with a simple laid back style of lick. Probably good to divide up and for a background piece. Different segments throughout the piece with some changes to the overall vine.

Heavy distortion with some ample amount of delay. The very beginning is rather moody and trippy, then it kicks in for a slow arena rock style guitar solo, then some random notes for the ending.

Weird e-piano/synth ditty, used a few times in tracks over the years. Has a peculiar moody quality. Anyway i'd probably just process the hell out of it with distortion/granulation/slicing and using it as a droney texture because it's sloppy and weird.

A kick drum produced for moody trance project. Production process: sound generated from kick synth; signal splitted in two bands; high band signal filtered, distorted and panned (this gives nice roughness and makes kick sound pretty good with center panned bassline); low band signal equalized with some re-verb; both bands mixed back together.

Sound i made using a whale mating call, otter squealing, plastic bag as rain, and buses outside of my class. Tried to make a blade runner type vehicle taking off and i also tried to create some ambience to go along with the moody blade runner type of style i was going for.

Looping, swirling, sweeping, echoey, ambient keyboard sound. The result of an experiment one night with a korg z1 and a pile of vst stuff. Unfortunately i only experimented with it in one key =(. Will also loop nicely in a kind of moody, urban, dubsteppy way at around 67-70bpm.

This is a short stab of music that i think sounds a bit like the shimmering strings often found at the edges of an elder scrolls background theme. I would try to compose more but i don't have that kind of talent of really know what i'm doing.

Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. This is my first sound contributed to the community so they'll hopefuly get more interesting as i improve, but feel free to use it as you wish.

This is a tune i've made out of a short saxophone riff (using edirol orchestral vst) which i've pitch shifted and reversed and reverbed and stuff and i think it sounds a bit 80s and very much like background music for some sort of tv program or film with spying or detectives or ghosts or possibly straight horror.

I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear. My childhood piano, an old german upright. Recorded using a studio projects b3 condenser mic through a presonus tubepre into an akai mpc1000. Mic'd from the top with the lid up, closer to the bass end. The piano is old and slightly out of tune, with a crack in the soundboard. The only processing was with analogx autotune to tune the samples, which did a very good job. Sampled 3 notes per octave so each sample only needs to be tuned + or - a semitone to span the whole range. It is a dark and moody sounding, a lot of character but in now way "pristine".

I made this in garageband to something called victors crypt. I began recording bass, drums and the rest of the sounds, then i played my acoustic guitar over that. Made kind of a moody solo over it. Could be perfect for something that needs a scary atmosphere and a spooky feel. Maybe could be an intro for something. . . . A dramatic tune i made on mostly piano in garageband for something called victors crypt. I imagine a mad sweaty beethoven-like composer by the piano in a concert hall. He's pounding those poor keys on the piano. I added some background-sounds to make it more moody. Could be perfect for an intro, something dramatic, big and serious. Made this moody dance-friendly tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's sort of happy, a bit up-tempo and dance-friendly but has this eerie anxious undertone. That's why i named it "dancing in dispair". Did a bassline along with a beat to start it off. Then i added some minor chords and synths with a lot of room to create a spookiness in it. I tried to vary it by making it change instrumental-wise during the tune. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel, episode, movie or whatever you feel like.
