In an after death setting, you may be temporarily parked in an waiting room, before the admission to the paradise. A strange door opens and closes, a ring sounds (the saint peter's office?), whispered voices, steps, echoed little noises. Registration made into an empty big church, with very few people praying and some maintenance operations. Equipment used: sony icd-sx800d, external microphone rode ntg-2.

Doing a test of how this looks on this site. Triangle wave raising octaves in steps. Took 5 tries but got one that im happy with. If you notice at the end the color starts going backward when the frequency gets too high, instead of going towards red. (which is actually the opposite of the wave length ratios in the light spectrum).

This is a recording i made using my tascam dr-40 field recorder. Used the xy pattern, no post-processing, just some edits to cut off unwanted noise, wind puffs and stuff. It was recorded in santo andre, state of sao paulo, brazil. This sample has street sounds, with rain, people chatting (in portuguese), bird sounds, cars, bikes and airplane sounds.

A short sound bite of someone running up some stone stairs before slamming a creaky door. It finishes with a woman screaming.

Recorded on ntg2 shotgun microphone with blimp and fluffy windshield. Short recording of light footsteps on asphalt road, with a little gravel under foot. They were light shoes so it's a light impact. Recorded during high winds.

A group of 5 people - 4 guards and 1 nun (woman), walking fast from the distance until near the mic, stop, and then one man moves forward. Walking with boots on stone floor, sound of metal, swords, armours mixed with the steps. Two men and the nun carried a wireless mic. Recorded with sound devices at 48k 24bit in 6 channels. Channel 1: boom mchannel 2: boom schannel 3: boomchannel 4: man wireless micchannel 5: man wireless micchannel 6: woman wireless mic. Use freely on your personal commercial and non-commercial projects. Don't put this raw sounds/files on youtube or anywhere else. You can use them in creative way as a part of art-form, but not "re-distribute" as (royalty free) stock material. Thank you.
