It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2. Then i saved and export my sound. ______________________________________________. D'après moi c'est un son répété formant un groupe tonique, au timbre harmonique acide,au grain lisse et dynamique.

A recording of a noise of a polish train running, slowing down with the specific metalic sqeaky sound, stopping, accelarating and then running slowly. At the end of the clip there is a motorcycle passing by no the road parallel to the train tracks. Recording was made using zoom h4n on 48khz and 24bit settings.

Ok so most of these tracks in this pack have either been recorded whilst i have been on set so the names are reflective of the time and character location of the film it was originally recorded for. Recorded with a sennheiser mkh 416t, sqn 4s series ive mixer and tascam dr-680 pcm recorder.

Recorded in pritzker park in the south loop area of downtown chicago. I am sitting towards the back (west) of the park near the end of the path. The microphones are pointed roughly southeast towards the el train tracks. Time of the recording was 5:22pm. Weather was warm, in the upper 80s. As part of a class assignment, we were given the hindi pop track "simply falling," and were asked to slow the track down add heavy reverb to it. The result is this eerie, noisy ambience of screeches, groans, and whispers. I've used this track in a few horror projects.
