This is the sound of an old tankless toilet, ca. 1945, with a flushometer mechanism being forced to cycle water for an extended period of time after flushing. Recorded with a zoom h1n and it's internal microphones.

Various water movements in a bathtub to simulate bathing. Includes some short heavy splashes. Originally recorded for a short film where one of the characters takes an off-screen bath. Recorded (if i remember correctly) with a sennheiser mkh-416 microphone into a sound devices 302 mixer.

The temperature of the water is tested at several intervals resulting in some variation to the water sound. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 2 of 2. Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. So, like any astute audio lover, i grabbed my zoom and recorded it! did my best to not rattle the stove or anything on it. I'll put it as creative commons, since who really goes through and credits every single random sound file they downloaded on any given internet scourge? but i'm always interested to see how the sound are used - especially this one ;). An attempt to create the sound of tentacles moving using a wet shower mat in a bathtub. Useful if you're trying to create a horror movie type sound where a tentacle creature is moving around. Possibly. Recorded using my tascam dr-40 and then added a bunch of filters in my daw (hindenburg).

Tin pothouse to can crumpled in a hand, beer was splashed out and scattered in the parties.

Small plate being put into water and pulled back out again. Would work well for small objects coming out of a sink, pool, tub, or shower. Drip doesn't last very long- very subdued. Quiet.

Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

Wrinkled a plastic bag (home to rubber bands, who played no part in this recording) on my desk to try to make an ice freezing sound. Instead it sounds like stepping on cracking ice.
