This chainsaw is brand new. 45cc recording taken at a distance of 30 feet and is unfortunately tarnished at the front with an ambulance siren. Recording gear: zoom h2/n @ 44. 1k/16bit using built-in xy microphones.

It's a recording of a man operating a chainsaw in a forest near an underground repair station. I've been biking through the forest whe i heard the chainsaw, so i stopped and recorded 7 minutes of him cutting off branches, tembers and walking around a bit. You can heat the chainsaw, natural forest reverb, sometimes a plane flying by or an undergroud train. The recording was made from around 20~30 meters from the sound source. Recorded with a zoom h2 (rear mics, hi gain, 96/24). Originally a 96khz / 24-bit wav file. Converted to flac using audacity.

A retro-style dramatic sound effect for when something important happens in a game, animation, video, video blog, etc. Or it could work for other purposes, as well - just be creative!. Various sounds of a carrot chopped into small pieces. The carrot lies on a wooden chopping board. There are also sounds, where you can hear how slices are moved on the board using the knife. All sounds in the pack "kitchen sounds 2022" were recorded with the zoom h6 and the xyh-6 microphone module. The sound was recorded at 96khz with 24bits. I limited the postprocessing to cutting and small gain adjustments. Also, i grouped similar sounds into larger files for easier handling and sound comparison.
