This is a sample of a classic (diy) dubsiren build by me. Its a squarewave synth modulated with a squarewave lfo. The sample is dry. Add delay and some chorus, reverb, (resonant) (auto) filter or so to get the typical dubby soundsystem style.

Created with music forge project libraryexported from fl studio 11 (fruity edition). Library:patcher>theme>jungle>drum>simple. What is music forge project?music forge project (mfp) is a library of plug-in presets and scores (no samples or copyrighted material). I myself have built this library (if someone wants to give presets for the library, it is much appreciated). The library uses a series of free vst (not included in the installation of the mfp). They can be downloaded for free from the manufacturers' websites ("http://musicforgeproject. Blogspot. Se/p/vst-plugins. Html"). I have checked all vst that i use and it's 100% free for both personal and commercial use. Are you using the fl studios loops or samples?no. The library does not contain samples and it does not link to the fl studios own samples or loops because they are copyrighted. A bird created by whistling. Recorded with a (blue microphones, snowball ice) the sound was postprocessed to make the bird sound more unique, for jungle soundscapes. Used audacity for both recording and processing. Recorder: realtek high definition audio soundcardmicrophone: blue microphones, snowball iceprocessing: testing different effects for the right result.

This is a recording of the six o'clock cicada taken near to the danum valley rain forest lodge in the primary rain forest of borneo. The 6 o'clock cicada is the loud horn type of sound that can be heard in the fist few seconds of the file. Later in the file other insects come in one sounding more like a car alarm.
