This is a combination of a bunch of sounds to create a very close feeling digging and tearing through earth sound. Thick roots being torn, low rumble, a lot of layers. Used for a video of hands moving through dirt, digging, forming, etc.

Broken transmission pads: c2 note, random gabbled modulated sounds using absynth 5. Sampled into ableton with a bit of effects, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. I'm Just Wild About Harry song (instrumental version). 78 RPM vertical cut photograph. Noise removed. Some equalization and compression to adjust for "tinny" sound. Wine glass, tuned with water, rubbed with pressure in a circular motion to produce sustained distorted tone. Recorded with olympus ls-10 (no zoom) in a small reverberating bathroom, edited in audacity to make a seamless loop. The whole pack intended to be used as a virtual instrument. Created this sound from the sound of the ceiling lamp bowl, by creating three sends (that is, three layers) with their subsequent filtering and some stereo manipulations the space of each of the layers. Each layer was processed in its own way.

A tense but pretty still athmosphere created with a number of tools by me. Got some subtle movement in it and consists of several major parts.
