An ambient field recording thru a window above a cows stable on a farm in the swiss emmental valley. Loud grasshoppers or crickets and the noises of cows moving around in the stable below.

Was mucking around in audacity and made a cricket chirp. I used the generate chirp option and distorted it. It would fit well in a night-time or summer scene.

A lone cricket appeared in my room, so i decided to record it before letting it out. Small chirping for about a minute. There is a light amount of background noise, since i decided not to do noise reduction myself and just leave it raw, since i didn't want to distort the cricket sound.

Recorded using samsung galaxy mega phablet using 'easy voice recorder' (registered version). All complaints about the sound quality must be addressed to british gas… they are used to getting strange complaint and i don't want them. You either want to use this recording, or you don't, don't bother writing to me telling me why you don't like it.
