This is my first noise i've ever uploaded, so any tips to improve this or any future sounds are welcome. The original sound came from a subway car screeching to a halt and it was edited with audacity and adobe premiere. Enjoy!.

This the sound of a machine called cnc from the berg (biomedical electronics research group). A cnc (computer numerical control) is the automated control of machining tools [1], and in the berg is used to craft electrical hardware for biomedical projects. [1] https://en. Wikipedia. Above all it has something i haven't seen in any of the machines one can buy, a bendable, collapsible coupling that would prevent injury to whomever is on the receiving end of the stroke. Clearly it will never be placed into production as it would cost too much to sell at a typical consumer price level. May all be for nothing because i can't get anyone to let me try it out, and i'm only accepting female applicants from among people i know. It's my machine. Sue me. I love being contrained by minimalistic restraints when improvising. I was enjoying hanstimm's machine sounds so , using only the loop function of this site, i made an improvisation using his 'machine' pack.

Sound output from playback of an old blank/empty type 1 audio tape that has an undulating pattern of noise. The volume hasn't been adjusted, so this is true to the amount of noise present in a tape recording.

Various guitars strings plucked above the nut. This gives a sound we are trained to associate with horror films. Useful sounds for sound processing. There was a swarm of annoying motorcyclists - for which i apologise. I suppose if you are a good sound designer, those sounds might also be useful.

A very low-pitch xylophone from the lmms daw, with reverb, initially i was attempting to emulate footsteps, but it turned out to be somewhat sinister and eerie instead.

So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. I myself need genuinely real vocal reactions. I often look for voice clips here on freesound, and there's just some stuff that isn't here. I know i'm not the only one, either, so i post mine as well so others may use them. Interestingly, i've gotten one person who took the time to uh. . . Tell me how they. . . Disapproved of my voice clips, so i just wanted to say that if you wanna use them, do, if not, don't, that's why they are there. I enjoy animating, and others do too, wanting to use others' voice clips. I also had a couple people make techno remixes of a lot of my sounds (thank you by the way, they're awesome). It's not that i care about the. . . Interesting way the one person expressed their opinion, it's just to let some similar acting people know that i post these for a reason. *shrug* but whatever floats your zeppelin, i honestly don't care. Anyway, for those who do use them, thank you. :p.
