I went on a trip down to sydney back in april and decided to record a bit. Its mainly just people chattering and the hum of the train in the background. Recorded on the 18/04/2019 on a h4n pro.

A stockholm, sweden commuter rail x60 train (alstom coradia nordic) on the then j35 (bålsta - nynäshamn) line arriving at and leaving from the älvsjö station. Near where i do many of my favorite nature recordings there are train tracks which can ocassionally be very busy -- and yes, sometimes they have interfered with some of my nature recordings. But, recently i recorded the sound of the approaching train carrying loads of coal. It was around dusk and breezy -- melancholy combination. . . . I really love the echo of the whistle. . . . And as i listened i could not help but think about 100 years ago when trains were more common, amazing how things change. Well, here it is. Kvgarlic.
