This is a small construction kit - lightly processed for easy control and use. . . It´s based on these broken beat sounds and trip hop - and a bit jazzy from the choosen instruments. . . 165 bpm - the drumsamples are from a roality free libary. . .

Some old v8 engined cars in a parade, idling and occasionally revving. They have open headers, meaning they have no mufflers and either no or very small exhaust pipes, therefore they're loud and "burbly"! there is some chatter from people standing on the parade route as well. Recorded on a tascam dr-44.

I took the wilhelm scream and added a splash effect at the end to simulate a person jumping off from a dock or a boat into the water. The sound i used are from the public domain. This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.

Cracking an egg with a spoon, opening the egg into a bowl. Making some crunchy sounds with the shell.

This sound was inspired by this youtube tutorial: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=ke5vztfcykc on converting formula controller output into audio but instead of pitching the sound up in audio i pitched it up in real time using two instances of gross beat. It sounds like a broken synth to me.

Our expresso machine making a latte. You can hear it start up, fill the mug, as well as the milk whipping part of it softly run in the background. There’s probably some background noise to this because i was making breakfast. It can get pretty loud i was recording up close.

A brick dragged across concrete. Sounds like an ancient stone door opening. Recorded with an iphone 3gs, edited with audacity.

Heavy raindrops on a metal, hollow surface. Recorded using olympus ls-10.

Some raw and dirty random samples of a small, out of tune yamaha pianino (upright piano) at a friends flat. There's noise of my laptop and there even might be some traffic noise in the background. Also no string scratching etc. In this pack. Nevertheless i thought it might be better to share the samples, than to have them just rot on a drive. I suggest throwing them into your software or hardware sampler of choice, manipulate them and listen what you come up with. Cut in ocenaudio. No noise-reduction or other processing has been applied. Enjoy ;-).

Wrinkled a plastic bag (home to rubber bands, who played no part in this recording) on my desk to try to make an ice freezing sound. Instead it sounds like stepping on cracking ice.

I actually cracked my bones to get this sound.
