I positioned the microphone capsules outside the window on the left and right and then gently (almost) closed it. I setup the recorder and rolled the whole evening. I found when mixing the film that if you apply a cut around the upper-mid range of an eq that you remove a lot of the pressure heard from the exertion of the cork and it sounds more like a bottle cap opening but that's up to you. I'll upload my version of the edited sound as an example.
