A stark recording of a bunch of northwest winds whipping through a small town. This was recorded in december 17th 2013 during the height of the frenzy of the holiday season. I think that it why i enjoy this recording so much -- the lonely yet comforting desolate wind in contrast to the frenetic sensory overload that the holidays can sometimes be. The wind chimes are a nice touch too. Recorded on my front porch using my zoom h4n recorder and it's internal stereo microphones with the record volume on 80.

One of a series of heavily processed sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I used s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, to combine these swishy sounds with various other metallic and synthetic sounds from my own library. I'm back with another binaural. I am attempting to capture the sounds that remind me of the places i have visited. This is a recording of fuertaventura, in the canary islands, inland in the desert, morning with the wind blowing the sand, desert mountains all around just like the wild west. I upgraded my binaural mics to roland cs-10em from my homemade ones. I'm happy if you can notice the difference. I like that they are combined mics and earphones with little windbooms. Files are recorded in:24-bit 96khz. Wav. They are as big and as high quality as i can make. Please comment :).

An ice storm moves in to the deep woods of north carolina on 01/30/2014. As the small particles of ice and sleet fall through the pine trees, they land on a bed of pine straw on the ground below.
