This is a soundwalk i recorded just before lunch break in mr. Speciale's music appreciation class. It has been normalized, faded in and out, and shortened to 1:00 minute in length. Enjoy!.

Although the project inspire (nasa) seems to have died, there are still sources of sound sources of vlf noise in the net. In http://abelian. Org/vlf can be found several available streams from multiple receivers located around the globe. In this package, i simply offer a few records scattered in time from this site. The stereo samples correspond to a experimental stream that combines two sources balanced on each channel: cumiana vlf receiver (italy) + sheffield vlf receiver (uk). The mono tracks correspond to other indeterminate receivers.

Three minutes of a schoolyard on a university in mexico city. Conversations and a birds on a tree.

Water fountain- the size of the environment in which the water fountain was in was small. It is located above a tile floor non carpet area. There were no people around. Was recorded on an h2 stereo digital recorder.

Highway- was recorded in a parking lot from a faraway distance. There were multiple people around, and it was recorded outside. Was recorded on an h2 stereo digital recorder.

Stepping in snow- was recorded outside where a high way was near by where there was some wind. The type of recording was stereo on a h2 recorder.
