Sound design that i made for a video game,layered a bunch of sounds and processed them to create an impactful sci-fi sound. This one is a spaceship door opening.

I used audacity and text-to-speech to recreate a voice line spoken by the cybermen from the 1967 doctor who episode "the moonbase". The video clip is available in the public domain. Transcript:. Cyberman 1: they have blown up the accessways to the moon base. Cyberman 2: the machine from earth must first be destroyed. There are 14 minutes left.

I accidentally came up with this sound when i was remixing one of my favorite songs on audacity. It sounds like a whole bunch of computer software and techy stuff sparking, beeping and crackling. Would be great for a movie introduction if it was overlayed with soundtrack. This is experimental so i would appreciate if you play with it and send it back to me; that's the point of creative commons, right? please comment and rate.

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. Designed with malstroem and basic 64. Malstroem. Graintable synthesis with "random" lfos and a freeware synth called basic 64, that is often used for the reproduction of c64 sounds. But here, the patch sounds like tools. It's a different synthesis, similar to the subtractive synthesis, but not as easy to handle as e. G. A minimoog synth or a prophet 5.
