A very short walk along a river passing through the city of drammen in norway. Ducks, pigeons, seagulls and crows made various sounds and cars passing on a highway bridge could be heard clearly when they passed a joint on the bridge.

Here you can hear this high-speed train come screaming through burbank's downtown station (traffic can be heard on i-5 in the distance). You will hear a security guard walk behind me just before the train comes through. He was one of our trusty transpo officers making sure i wasn't up to no good with my zoomh4n device. In my opinion, the welded rail tends to diminish the dramatic effect. . . In fact, i was surprised at how quiet the engine itself was. . .

I was looking for a sound that fitted a dance studio/recording studio reception area so i mixed a few sounds together and came up with this. It has traffic sounds, various bird sounds, indistinct chatter, a thumping bass in the background like in a room on the floor above and a harmony group practising somewhere else in the building. Could be useful for a radio play, movie scene or theatre play.
