Water rolling down a creek, over rocks and around a fallen tree, in stereo, with the water sounds moving from one ear to the other ear. We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.

Recorded with a zoom h1n in north wales on 21/09/2020. About 3 metres distance from the river. Some other sounds creep in, such as birdsong and traffic.

This is the second part of a recording an overflowing brook in summer, out in a farmer's field after a rainstorm. This one is pretty clear but there may be some artifacts created by my phone being jostled, or other sound sources in the area, but it's long so those could be easily cut out. Edit it however you like.

Recorded in kanawha state forest in west virginia on a dr70r with shotgun mic. Some clean up and noise reduction with rx8 in reaper. It's a small mountain creek but it's pretty prominent in the sound, i'm about 10 feet away. I also have a version where i bring down creek noise, check the profile.
