I don't even want to know what the neighbors were thinking when they heard me growl into my microphone for like 30 seconds straight.

Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. Some synth thing i made for a track i was working on. It's a layer of a few different oscillators tuned a certain way to sound harsh. . . Then ran it through a hpf to make it ggrroowwll. . !!!!! and of course a lil echo and stuff. .

Started out as a recording of me blowing into an empty triangular chocolate container of swiss origin. Came out as a scary monster sound.

Sound is me being gross! setup: mic, into eq, into stereo pedal (used as a signal splitter-- one signal went to one multi effect on a pitch-down setting, the other into a second multi effect on a pitch-up setting. ), into stereo delay (no delay added, though. ) burp. . .

This is a heavily distorted version of a previous sound created by scraping a tape dispenser on my desk and giving it reverb. I think it sounds like a monster in relation to horror breathing. I would imagine it being a large beast of some sorts.

One of the "bull" sounds i used in one play in my theatre. I recorded human voice with one of our actors using shure sm81 and popkiller. Recording software: garageband. Then processed the recordings with adobe audition cs 6, by lowering the pitch, adding reverb and distortion. Can be used as agressive bull, monster, etc.

I used this in a project where a some spider creatures were removed from a corpse's stomach, could be a fun alien or monster sound!.

This sound can be used in a anything like horror games or movies. I made this using 2 things audacity and my voice i messed around with each option and i got this cool sound in the process.
