Sorry for the lack of uploads. (you probably don't care, but i'm just sayin'. ) i'll try to be more active on this site from now on. But anyways, here's a realistic gun shot sound i made. I made it by recording a huge firework explosion, speeding it up, adding a little bit of modified reverb, and some amplifying. I made this in audacity.

I sat up my two cm3-microphones at my porch for recording nature-sounds during 3 hours. Then i went into the house for doing other things. When i was finished i listen thru the recording, than i realised there was a couple gunshot at the recording. I'll publishing the best shot. Extracted from camera recorded content, tidied up with audacity mono and noisegate. . . I also listen for problems and cherry pick to avoid weird sounds. . No rubbish dry sample. If you want to use these sorts of sounds (good for games or video), remeber adding reverb back is the trick to making the sound big again.

A mom shots her 2 kids after his dad became a zombie and she had to kill him, after that she suicides. I put together all these sounds, muffled it, put some reverb and this is what i got. Multiple gunshots recorded at an indoor gun range. Many of the shots are from an ak47, including single shots and full auto. There is some background noise, but there are some good clear shots in there that can be easily cut out and used. Unfortunately the original recording is only mp3 and the recorder had auto-gain set so some shots are recorded louder than others, but there are still some usable shots in there.

I used fl studio 11 to create this sound. By editing a washing machine's sound and adding drum samples i got this minigun sound.

A collection of 8 plasma rifle-style single shots, inspired by the plasma rifles you hear in the terminator movies. Each shot is slightly different so there is some variety. I created them by layering single gun shots with other sounds and then running them through a granular synthesizer with some effects.

Originally contributed by freesound user juskiddink, this series of two blasts on a finnish birch bark horn has been shortened and tightened for use as a ring tone. It's a long, organic and haunting two-tone call echoing in the forest night; a clear alternative to the mechanical and tightly musical ringtones out there, and one i like a lot. Edited to wrap nicely for a continuing repeat.

7. 62x51 nato m134 minigun burst fire, 500 rounds (approx. ) from 200 feet. Sony ecm-672 shotgun microphones, into shure field mixer and then digital video camera. Sample rate is 48k, from original source. Other automatic fire can be heard in-between bursts. This footage was from my camera/gear working on a mg shoot promo video which can be seen on youtube.
