It’s a mix the 80s gated reverb and the fisher k10 stereo (gated), this is an experiment that i did combining a thicker reverb with low frequency, with an impulse response from a 60s spring reverb unit, which brings a movement nice in the mix.

I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.

I recorded myself winding up an old wall-clock in my living room to use in a song. I used the built-in microphone in an ipad, re-recorded to cubase, added a bit of compression, a gate, and a limiter. It's a stereo file, but the sound is mono.

A pair of owls stationed themselves outside my half-basement bedroom window in colorado early this morning around 12am. Unfortunately i only had my phone to capture them with, but it still turned out alright, save for the periodic vox-like breaks when silencing background noise. The hoot is obvious as to the source, but i'm unsure about the screech/cry that occurs with equal frequency. Is it the response of a mate? or just the yip of a curious neighbor dog?. Recorded with the stock application on my lg g3 phone and encoded to mp3 using the "video to mp3" app.

Water rolling down a creek, over rocks and around a fallen tree, in stereo, with the water sounds moving from one ear to the other ear. We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. Bullfrogs and crickets at night. The first half of the recording will have some human voices in the background, the second half shouldn't have any voices but does have water noises. Recorded in a horse pasture near portland, oregon in april. The water is from a small culvert emptying into a small irrigation stream.

Recorded deep in the shawnee national forest after a lot of rain which filled the many little creeks. Rode ntg-2 and the zoom h4n recorder.

This is a larger stream in the shawnee national forest. At this particular point on the stream had a large log over which the water was flowing gently. . . . Not as much gurgling and popping sounds, just a nice smooth, flowing sound.

This is the song of a beautiful bird called a rufous-sided towhee. A bird usually found in deep woods, or in heavy brush. I was fortunate though to both see and hear this guy as he was perched in a tree at the edge of a heavy forest. Recorded around 6:30 in the morning on a gorgeous spring day on the last day of march 2012. Rode ntg-2 shotgun mic mounted on a sturdy tripod to reduce handling noise. Enjoy!.

A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

A recording made on the bank of a small stream. The prominent bird that you will hear -- especially at 30 seconds into the recording -- is a beautiful little bird called the louisiana waterthrush. I made this recording by attaching my zoom h4n to a sturdy tripod, and using the built-in internal stereo microphones on the zoom. The built-in microphones have a 90-degree and 180-degree setting. For this recording, i set the angle on 180 degrees.

I'm pulling a spring in my old kitchen cupboard. Always loved this sound and wanted to share with you all. Recorded with zoom h6 l/r microphone. The first "pull" is a bit lower than the second "pull".
