Pacific tree frogs (pseudacris regilla) croaking in a disused quarry. This clip has one frog close, others in middle distance. Quite a bit of wind noise from nearby trees.

Just some nature sounds with a woodpecker way off in the distance. Got a clean recoding, so i thought i'd share!.

Birds singing in my garden.

This is a field recording i did on the morning (around 5-6 am) of may 20, 2020 in tenney park, madison wisconsin. It is a 2 minute recording of a bird colony. A bird expert told me they were probably purple martins, and there is a redwing blackbird chirping in the background. Recorded with shotgun microphone.

Impulse response of a 60s tube spring reverb unit, fisher k-10 in stereo at 96khz. It is very versatile it looks good on drums, guitars, percussions, synthesizers and vocals, in addition to the beautiful spring sound in stereo.

This is a series of sounds created for spitfire audio's make music day 2020 #spitfiremmd2020 it is a plastic drum, a springy pot rack and a big metal chip bin. There are both harmonic and enharmonic sounds here. The bin as a wonderful resonance and a lot of low end. This is a mono recording through a sennheiser 416 and an rme pre-amp. Enjoy!.

As there was hardly any car circulating during the first french confinement, i had the idea of recording the blackbird from my garden day after day around 6 a. M. This recording was made on april 15, 2020 with the sony ic recorder. Enjoy the solo by this little composer!.

I made this recording with my hands, no birds where involved in this recording.

This sound was recorded via the use of a behringer b2 microphone, fostex fr2 and a home made parabolic reflector made from a tv satellite dish. The source of the sound was between 100m-200m away from the microphone. This has been eq'ed with high-end shelving to reduce gain noise, low-end shelved up to 1khz (to reduce wind and background noise) and the overall gain has been increased. The window in my studio has an exceptionally long tail of the spring vibrating. I could see this with some effect thrown on being very useful in music or fx situations. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy attachment with internal compression.
