I recorded using a zoom h6 with an xy mic and foam screen and tripod. I recorded various zip sounds at a slow pace and then fast pace in front of the mic. The first zip is from a jacket, the second is a travel bag, and the third is from a pencil case. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.

There's definitively a weak signal there, but not much to write home about. This is a recording of an eberline e-120 geiger counter, which makes the "classic" geiger click sound. The clip was created using a synsonics "terminator" guitar with a built-in amp by running the output to my sound card and sound card's output going into to a secondary jack intended for headphones on the guitar. It created an interesting metallic noise, almost like a ring mod. . . There is a segment where i was poking the guitar's amp circuit board with my fingers which creates lots of grumbling/squelchy noises. . . The guitar is kind of crappy, but it makes a pretty neat noise synth! :b.

A recording of anything i could do with two empty 1,5 l plastic bottles. A lot of sounds you can squeeze from a plastic bottles. Just no sounds of opening and closing a s i didn't have the caps. Recorded with a zoom h2, rear mics. The recording was done in a small room with a thinc carpet, there is soem natural short reverb but not too bad. Very little background noise. Converted to flac using audacity.
