A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. This is a recording of applause at the end of the concert in a large auditorium. The conductor and performers walk off and on stage for multiple bows throughout. This is recorded with a small field recorder from a seat in the audience. The file politely clips in parts as people near me clapped, but it's not noticeable. The cough in the beginning is easily cut out, the file loops really well, so you can just delete that section, and it will sound continuous.

Real audio of the bristol riots from summer of 2011. Please note that there are abusive words included. This was recorded as part of my coverage of the riots, which i later allowed the bbc to use on their news programme. 18 people applauding. Recorded on a marantz pmd 661, 6 september 2019, with a rode nt4. Recording level okay, but the waveform is sometimes clipped due to the loud clapping overloading the pmd661’s input amp. The input attenuation for the pmd661 should have been set to -6db (or -12db).
