Recorded in czech republic using iphone 7 plus mic at 320kbps (which i found had a more rounded sound than more advanced mics i used for the same sound). I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.

This is a short wooden percussion ratchet. Eighth note length.

Zoom h4 field recording.

Recorded on a beautiful spring day on a trail with high oaks overhead. You can hear the wind blowing through the treetops, the low grass blowing, and random insects on the ground.

Recorded this in a private yacht club, you can hear some water lapping which can be cleaned quite easily with an expander but i've chose to keep it for flexibility.

Very relaxing ambient noise of wind blowing through trees and rustling leaves. Faint birdsong can also be heard in background. No wind noise on mic through most of the recording, though a little is present near the end.

Recording of a fireplace where some wood is burning, the wood is not much dry so the sound is crunchy. I recorded few takes and edit and mixed them to get the right sound. Recorded using a stereo pair (ab) connected to an apogee mini-me and a computer.

Took my tascam dr 22 in a pine tree wood close to the shore in poland, you can hear some birds but mainly the wind shuffling in the trees - it was a windy day.
