Sights and sounds of this natural woodland scene in edinburgh and its ambience recorded live on site and which includes the sounds of a trickling stream and various birds native to the area. This was filmed during summer morning in june, 2018 in the lush woodlands of duddingston village. It's one of my favourite places to visit and most of my nature videos are recorded here. I nice little flowing river sound i recorded while at muir woods outside of san fransisco. The sound can be looped to sound continuous for as long as is needed. I like it because it fills up a lot of the frequency spectrum, so it can be great for adding ambience.

As the earth continues to slowly tilt the northern hemisphere away from the warmth of the sun's rays, the pace of life in midwestern fields slows down. This recording was made at 3pm on wednesday october 5 2022 in a huge, 70-plus acre, abandoned farm field. A field bordered thousands of acres of state-owned forest. The soft peeps of the few remining birds, grubbing around for protein-packed insects is the soundtrack. At 5 minutes into this recording a delightful, friendly exchange between two birds as if they are saying "hey, let's help each other find food before this field is blanketed with snow at cold. ". At 7:05 in this recording a truck slowly drives by, softly crunching gravel and the driver slows down to witness this annual, melancholy autumnal change. The tree toads are finally here, after a long dry spell. The water dropped onto huge norway maple leaves overhead. Don't even ask why i was out there at 2 am.

Went out to get birdsong and general ambience without realizing it was going to rain. First two minutes can hear birds and bugs and nature sounds, then past the 3 minute mark the rain begins to set in gradually.

A horse harnessed with metalic chains is walking in a silent forest. The rattling of chains is getting closer, then we follow the horse and we can ear the lood steps on the forest soil of fallen leaves. This recording, unlike my previous insect recordings, was taken in an actual forrest on south mountain reservation, millburn nj (as opposed to my backyard). There is a distant airplane in the background (south mountain is near newark airport) but otherwise its much cleaner than my previous recordings, pretty much isolating the patch of crickets. ---two primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1.
