This is voice over i created for the production of "sleepy hollow" for karamu theatre. The name "icabod" repeats several times with echo effects added.

I recorded this with my iphone 3gs, with the "voice memo" app, then i edited it in magix music maker to amplify it. Hope it's useful to someone!.

Just played around with a granulizer and this sound came out of it. Actually i made a track before where i was looking for this exact sound. But until now, i couldn't find it. So if anyone is looking for the same sound too, here it is.

Builds quickly, sustains and gradually fades. C minor arpeggio stretched from 11 seconds to 1 minute using the paulstretch effect on audacity. Low-fi recording with tablet and hi-q app.

To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

Heres a quality fat "street" beat ready for use in a aggressive hip-hop or big-beat production. Long sample containing subtle variations and a ending tail fx. Lots of bass and sub in the kick, designed to bang hard in a car system. Ps:would appreciate a link to interesting finished productions using it!.
