Medium thunder-storm, recorded in a beech grove near dur-dur village, north ossetia, russia. Gear: zoom h6 recorder, audio technica at835b shotgun with boom pole and zeppelin on it.

This is a recording from clearwater beach, florida, usa, made on november 07, 2014, from the gulf of mexico on a windy day, just before the tide came in. I made this recording while standing in the sea, where the waves were at about waste height. This was produced with a zoom h6 recorder and it's x/y microphone module.

Captured during a windstorm. Water sprays hard against the window pane. Air rushes past a crack in the window making a loud, breathy, howling whistle; while outside, the swaying trees are swelling waves of white noise. (there is no thunder).

4th of june 2016 thunderstorm in pécel, hungary at 5pm recorded by sony icd-ux512 dictaphone. You can hear the rain slowly coming toward us. The storm was also involved with a funnel cloud and a downburst.

I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.

At 1:02 a magpie can be heard, which seems to be startled by the first thunderclap. Recorded in south germany near heilbronn. (june 2015)original is a a 4-channel record in irt-cross arrangement by using 4xnt1 microphones from rode and a zoom h6 recorder. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. For stereo the>left-front + left-rear<and the>right-front + right-rear<channel was mixed to a left and right file.

Recorded using my droid turbo in the windowsill and has surprisingly good sound quality. Thunder is consistent and perfect for ambience.

Big storm hit my house, and i recorded it from just behind a window. Recorded in stereo at 24 bit with a sony pcm m-10 with furry windshield. All my sounds are dedicated to the public domain, and are free to use, no restrictions. Although i really appreciate a message or comment if you use my sound for something interesting. This is a short clip from an intense thunderstorm, recorded from my second story queens apartment from an open bathroom window during the early afternoon of july 15, 2015. Some traffic and airplanes can be heard in the background. This clip was recorded using an apple iphone 6 and the zoom iq6 x/y stereo microphone with a rode dead kitten windscreen at low volume, normalized later. This recording lasts until the battery on my iphone hit 5%, at which point the zoom handy recorder app automatically stopped.

For this recording, i was sitting in my car under a large tree. With a rain storm having just passed, the tree was dripping large droplets, creating a consistent rhythm as they hit the roof of the car. This was recorded using a tascam dr-05x in june, 2020.

The sounds of rain and crickets from my window this evening.

A few loud sounds in the beginning, one massive and loud lightning and thunder. You can even hear the lightning crack before the thunder. Distant thunder follows with some birds chirping at the end. Recorded on a h4n zoom at 48khz 24bit.

Swiss forest, sunny winter morning, on a small mountain. The cracks and other falls are due to the snow that melt in the sun and fell from the top of the trees. It was beautiful. Recorded in stereo with h5n, and processed a little bit to reduce the wind.
