A recording of a washing machine. All my sounds are fully free to use, but please consider leaving a comment to let me know how you'll be using them. Just curious! :).
A mysterious rumbling sound made by my washing machine. There is a sound of trickling water in the background. A great audio clip to add to a movie or a video.
Kitchen sink faucet opening, washing a cup, closing faucet. Recorded in mono mp3 mode on a zoom h2. The recorder then created a 2-track file (and i assume both tracks are identical). Compressed and normalized to -3. 1 db in audacity. Exported in flac mode.
I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.
Laundromat ambience including the sound of front load washer running, an attendant making conversation, a plastic cup full of coins, and a game playing faintly on the radio.
Sound of someone washing their hands in a small bathroom. This sound has been recorded with a zoom recorder and it has been retouched eliminating background noise. The sound was recorded at a distance of one meter.
Whirlpool cabrio washing machine in final stage of spin cycle to remove water from laundry. A consistent hum with regular pulse of a quiet rattle. A nearly soothing machine noise.
The latch door from an old coin-operated washing machine being closed. Series of instances. Recorded at close proximity in stereo, 44. 1khz, 24bit on a tascam dr-01 portable recorder.
This is a dishwasher while it's working, recorded from the outside (of course) with a behringer b2-pro. The rhythm is almost like clock's seconds, very addictive!.
Me gargling some water and spit it out afterwards. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. I would love to hear some of my field recording into someone’s work.
