Alleyway behind a couple of huge older buildings at 3pm in downtown vancouver. Standing near output fan and building generator structures. At the end of the alley you can hear the busy traffic. Recorded with tascam dr-05.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

Recording of a 1995 compaq computer desktop hard drive. Features electronic whirring, powering up / down sounds, whirring, clicking, "memory access" noise. Could be used for e. G. A movie scene with computers in the background, glitchy techno, etc.

Starts with a generative drone. Noisy and nice. Then i start to wiggle. In some way the synth alway impresses you. Sorry for long sound.

The drone has a form of pattern repeating every 2 minutes. But other thing are vaguely linked to this pattern. The heart of this patch is intellijel quadra + expansion. I'm using 3 oscillators and noise. I add some character to the sound with a driver pedal (boss bd-2).

In between booms, whistles and fizzles you you can also hear the sound of the debris from the cardboard shells falling around me. Sometimes they were on fire, though you can't hear that quality in the audio. It's good for fireworks and is pretty easy to eq for more of a distant quality. I find it's more fun using it to sweeten weapons. The full recording is 29 minutes.
