Recorded my self while crack my bones.

Part of a series of sounds. I'm breaking up a rotten old piece of fencing in my back garden and thought i'd share the resulting sounds with the world!.

Ice cracking, recorded with oktava mk-012.

Ice gnawing in a freezer.

I just broke some old brown celery and it left a nice refreshing sent on my hands. Anyways it makes a bone crunch sound i guess.

Recorded with sennheiser 8020 in a self made jecklin disk setup to sounddevices 477. Movo wst80 windprotection. I erased the few passing cars but otherwise no filtering. There is of course a lot of low energy which could be filtered or used. . .

I recorded a crisps bag but it sounds like a number of things.

Loud bell from wind-up 1950s spartus timer. Repeated four times. Electro-voice bk-1 microphone, miked close, on hard wooden surface. Some ambient room noise.

Fire recorded outdoor in our land in granada. Some birds can be heard in the background, including a partridge.

The ticking of an old alarm clock, recorded in the middle of the night.

This year has been a clumsy one, so i now am the "proud" owner of a giant bucket of broken glass. Here's what it sounds like when i take a hammer to it. Recorded to 32bit floating point format with my very nice h4n field mic. Yours to cut up and enjoy for all your re-mixing needs, professional or otherwise. Do as you like with it, no credit required.

This first one in the pack is the loudest hit. The samples in this thunder pack are all 24-bit, and i recorded not directly as output from my mixer but routed it first through software compression and saturation and this first one was so loud it normalized itself during recording. None of the other samples are 'normal'. Notice my neighbor's car alarm going off the thunder was so loud. It's not loud in the mix.

A handful of spaghetti cracked into half. I don't know how to use this but often an injury in film foley is just breaking a celery or something else. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. My knuckles actually refused to crack, so this is a compilation of me crack each finger one at a time. Sounds painful heh? not really.

I tried to replicate some kind of alarm. You could also use it as a very annoying alarm clock. Also available with less reverb.

A collection of pitched and layered vocal takes to replicate the sound of lightening.

A meaty glass impact with some cracks forming afterward. Perfect sound for when the glass object breaks, or is nearly broken by some heavy metal object. Made by hitting a porcelain plate with a metal spoon, then crushing up some aluminium foil and ice chunks in my hand. The sound files were then pitch shifted and merged in audacity.
