3 chain connected looping envelopes slowly finding a rhythm. At the start of the recording i set the tree envelopes at random loop length. Slowly they work their way to a more simple rhythm. Why? at about 2 minutes the rhythm is rather short phrase.

A smoother version of blast2 this sound is good for slower weapons (not explosions) more like eruptions of some sort.

On a few samples there is this very high pitch sound. . . Seems not everyone is able to hear this. . My girlfriend was listening with me and she didnt hear anything like this!!!to find out what was going on alienxxx suggested to run the samples thrue an eq to see what was going on. After that i maxed out my eq at 14,8khz. Setting everything to maximize the peak that is so very very very annoying!!!. .

These are series of various flash bulb pop sounds designed by me for the war-themed short film project. I've decided to create those myself from scratch, because i could not find any proper recordings of those rare vintage flash bulb which were closed lamps that contained a magnesium filament along with oxygen gas that would be ignited and create a significant pop followed by short crackle. goldie the wild boar eat some nuts. Well, ther is a highway nearby and a lot of pedestrians with bikes and dogs and so on. Should repeat this on a sunday morning to get a clear sound of goldie. Recorded with a zomm h2 on 90degree, 2 meters away from goldie. . . I lowered the peaks to get a better normalization of the whole atmosphere. Goldie lives in the alluvial forrest in leipzig, mostly seperated.

I recreated these unique sounds from this anime with some apricot stones.

The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. There's lots of good, old fashioned, clickity-clackity track in this one. A rarity these days as most tracks are now put down with out breaks for miles at a time. Enjoy!. Christopher.
