We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. You are free to use these samples in any project you are working on. Just say hi here and let me know what you're up to. I like to know it's helping a fellow sound designer out. My first little sfx that i made using audacity. Sounds i used: 33245__ljudman__grenade.

A nice shotgun sound that packs a punch. Recorded with sony hdr-pj260v then edited using audacity and flstudio.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Explosion (inside?) this sound was created using public domain us military government video material. Specific details can be red in the metadata of the file.

A semi-automatic rifle, pitched down 3 semi-tones. Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end. The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound".

I think i used stereo mics that came with my h5. Recorded on top of a parking garage right next to the airport. I caught this great sound early in the morning before city traffic could get busy enough to ruin the recording. Enhanced with ozone 6 and removed some bassy wind noise with rx5. Hello this is a some radio chatter that i was working on it goes in and out the a cut at the end. You can use it you can use this sound in any of your projects but if you make over 1 million dollars off you aaa game / movie than you can share the wealth lol but i would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

Projectile sound fx, the effect was recorded playing with a cardboard and a brush, and some reverb fx were added in adobe audition.

This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.
