Just a recording of me growling into the microphone that i processed it with multiple effects to give it the feel of a giant monster growling.

Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. Recorded on september 4, 2020 on an ipad. Some parts or maybe even all of it may sound like just noise to some people. It was recorded in a government fenced in square. So there are buildings on 3 sides of my location and a gated entrance at the front. It is mainly drums that are played for a dragon dance. These dances are performed at special occasions, such as a new business opening. There is a troop of about 8 people there to perform the dance. For the first half of the recording, the two dragons (four people) were preparing and they were actually performing the dance for the second half of this recording.

I couldn't find any good giant wings flapping here, so i made my own and am now sharing them so nobody else has to! screw paying for sounds! made from a combination of pizza box lids, sheets, and a bit of sound design. You don't even have to credit me because i mean. . . Who even does that? and why? who's gonna track down a foley artist from the credits of a show for a random sound? just check out the sonic realms podcast if you like audiodramas and role playing games; there's nothing else like it. Tornado siren in streamwood, il recorded during the monthly test. This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. The actual siren is located a short way north west of the geotag (it should be visible using google's satellite view). Recorded using a rode ntg2 into a zoom h4.
