I thought this sample in my current project-in-progress-of-mixing sounded funny enough to share with y'all. I hope you find an use for it somewhere at least!.
This was recorded in a large theatre. It is not completely silent so it has a nice unique tone. Recorded on my h4n at 24bit/48khz using the built-in stereo mics.
A broken space heater that clicks. Recorded with a zoom h5 using the onboard xyh-5 capsule to capture a stereo signal and a sennheiser k6/me66 for a mono track. Very minor post processing to balance the stereo/mono and pull the subs out of the side channels.
The empty sound of the dubbing room recorded with a stereo zoom microphone h6. The director of the last short film wanted a very neutral background for apartment-type environments.
The sound of a low-flying helicopter overhead fades into ambient sound of roofers working on a nearby building, using hammers, roofing staplers, and an electric saw.
Stereo recording of a person moving around on a couch in a living room. Recorded for an audiodrama in which two people talk while on their living room couch.
