The original source for stretchdrone01. Aiff. Made back in 1980 on an octave/cat synthesizer and recorded to cassette. It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney". We never did much with this material so feel free to use it as you see fit. Enjoy.

Imagine you just landing on an unfamiliar planet, where the local on the planet is just some unpopulated area with a open wide field or jungle. You don't see any one, or anything, but either dust,trees, grass, or a vacant road. While your wondering through this place you also notice that that nightfall is approaching, and you can see the moon and the starts of this planet. This synth patch is just the sound for that, a drone bass synth patch used to create some imaginary audience feel that would lead you or someone to be driven to madness. Really messed up audio of me talking you cant even tell so it sounds like an alien and i added a droning to give it a good feel.

I created this sound using the ipod app droneo(i do all my recordings with an ipod touch $th generation). It was then processed using the ipod app sample wiz and recorded using the ipod app twisted wave,linked up using the ipod app audiobus. I hope you all enjoy and/or are able to use this.

This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.

A pluck on a jew's harp. Recorded late at night in my bedroom on a samsung mp3 player. I enhanced it to the best of my abilities in audacity since the original recording had a low bitrate (64kbps mp3), the volume was low and it had a lot of static noise. Unfortunately the recording have a lot less warmth to it than the instrument has in reality. I am not sure of the tone of the harp but i believe it is a c, if it is not please let me know. 1 of 15.

Strange vocal effect.

A very low frequency tone/drone made with the studiofactory software synth. It's a cross-mod of the perlin tone generator with a formant generator. This is about as low and loud as my current speaker/amplifier system allows. Use with care i. E. Turn down your playback systems output before you play it. Final mastering was done with audacity.

Uh-1 helicopter does one flyby then approaches and flies directly overhead. It kicks up some sand as it goes over and then lands on a ship, about 100 meters away.
