Surround recording of the main square in the croatian town of trogir. Ther recorder is situated before the front porch of the cathedral, facing the city hall. It is 5 pm on a quiet summer day, some tourists and activity in the several cafés can be heard. The tower clock of the city hall strikes 5 in the middle of the recording. Recorded with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with a dispersion of 120°.

Atmospheric noise at a baseball game.

It's a recording of audience applauding during a gig. You can hear around 50 people clapping their hands, sometimes shouting. There is also sometimes a piece of music or the vocalist's speech audible. I tried to eliminate any music, without badly trimming the sound. I used some fade-ins and fade-outs here and there. The sound was recorded with a zoom h2's rear stereo mics, originally 48000hz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity. I hope you'll enjoy this sound and find it usefull.

He had a powerful but distorted amplifier--the bad sound quality was like that in real life. I turned around in front of the basilica on this dead-end street and that's why the music switches sides. 08:23-08:40-> yes, that's a chainsaw. The city was trimming some large trees. 09:33-09:47-> more chainsaw noise as i walked past the workers on azais street. 10:00-11:00-> increasing crowd noise as i walk back north to the busiest part of montmartre along saint eleuthere street. Tail end of a paper-airplane competition as part of #azwud (arizona world usability day) in scottsdale, az. About 100 adults and 3 kids made paper airplanes then flew them in an informal indoor competition. Sounds of the crowd reacting to the different flights as planes flew off in all directions, hitting the ceiling, the floor, the audience. Announcer in the bkgd. Children approaching the 'launchpad' then the crowd reacting to their winning throw. After the kids' throw, the sound of another competitor's plane hitting the ceiling/floor (?) and then his comment "too much thrust. " a kid saying to an adult, possibly her mom (?), "please don't succeed" as the woman approached the launchpad to throw her plane.
