Field recording made in boston's city hall plaza, summer 2005. Lots of miscellaneous crowd noise can be heard: footsteps, random chatter, and so on. There is also some construction being done nearby, so the noise of construction machinery backing up is also prominent at certain parts.
It is a monotone and low sound because it constantly repeated at certain time, therefore we have need to use a high gain to record it. It is the sound of the barefoot feet walking on the ground.
These footsteps were recorded on my backyard pathway that was full of leaves. Its a mono 44. 1k/16-bit recording using an akg perception 220. It was recorded very early in the morning to avoid city noises like cars and dogs barking.
I performed adhan at kakusenkei footpath, yamanaka onsen area, kaga city, ishikawa prefecture. This sound also contains forest sound, river, birds, and my footsteps.
A sneaker-clad foot tapping on a tile floor. I recorded this for a project and am releasing it to help others, since i found a lack of toe tapping sounds here.
Ambisonic b-format recording for creaky footsteps in a fairly reverberant hallway. Recorded with the coresound tetramic. *note: you will need to decode this b-format ambisonic file with a plug-in such as the (free)surroundzone2 which allows you to decode the file to a surround, stereo, or mono format. Also note that these are fuma bformat files (and opposed to ambix bformat).
