My first little sfx that i made using audacity. Sounds i used: 33245__ljudman__grenade.

This sound is an excerpt of 244429__milton__army-band. Wav , available here in freesound: http://www. Freesound. Org/people/milton. /sounds/244429/i have edited a four bars loop in audacity to change the format to wav and mono sound with a depth of16 bits. Also i have applied a soft fade in and fade out in order to avoid artefacts.

A nice shotgun sound that packs a punch. Recorded with sony hdr-pj260v then edited using audacity and flstudio.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Explosion (inside?) this sound was created using public domain us military government video material. Specific details can be red in the metadata of the file.

A semi-automatic rifle, pitched down 3 semi-tones. Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end. The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound".

Hello this is a some radio chatter that i was working on it goes in and out the a cut at the end. This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.
