I made this on the thumbjam app for ipad for a movie title graphic that uses imovie's "ripple" title transition. It's good for any kind of mood- or time-change or perhaps a quick transition to or from a dream sequence.

Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. Recorded on public transit in downtown vancouver on a zoom h5. Originally at 24bit/48khz and down sampled to 16 bit 48khz. There is some variation in levels as i was riding the levels whilerecording.
