Small plastic slides being moved around the rough, metallic tops of a speaker. Originally intended to be used as microscope slides, but obviously this can be used for other things as well.
This is a short, squeaky sound which fits perfect to a growing plant or tuberous nose. Made with audacity and two gum balls and a rubber simpsons figure.
Electricity into a cable. Close to the chernobyl npp (nuclear power plant). Birds in the background. Sound recoded in ms (not encoded). More info on www. Felixblume. Com.
Part of a firework display. Can hear roman candles with screamer units, and the launch and burst of shells. You may wish to turn up the bass and wear headphones! now geotagged at last - thanks for all the comments!.
This is part of a commercial summer firework display in the uk. There are bombette candles, crackle candles, tourbillion units and shells of various calibre, some of which contain crackling material. Analogue recording.
Here's a sound bite of me setting off a morning glory firework (essentially a sparkler, for the unaware). It almost sounds like a fuse going off if you ask me. Could be good for a fuse sound for a project. Recorded with a zoom h4n.
