An attempt to fill a request for the sound of rummaging through a wooden chest (trunk) filled with wooden toys. . . This features the opening of the trunk and various latch/locks being used for opening/closing. Gear: zoom h6, xyh-6 x/y capsule (120 degree stereo image), rycote windjammer, mounted on a tripod, late 1800s wooden trunk. Please feel free to leave feedback and ratings. My great-uncle and great-aunt have an old grandfather clock. It doesn't quite work right and only chimes 7 times at 12 o'clock, so i had to record it at 11 and add another chime. Nonetheless, it makes for a great ambient sound, especially in a horror setting. I recorded it with my tablet (samsung galaxy tab a) and edited it with audacity (added in an extra chime, converted it to stereo, etc. ).

My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

A "bones"-like sound that is good for game sound effects. Unfortunately i can't remember for sure how i made it. I think i swept an object across the spokes of a bicycle wheel.

Although this sound is completely free to use without credit, i would appreciate it if give me credit if you happen to use this sound.

My grandma recently gifted me a music box that was given to her by her mother, but it unfortunately doesn't work right anymore. It starts and stops unnaturally and can't make a loop, it requires constantly turning the wind-up mechanism to continue playing. This is the 1st of 2 recordings of me trying to get it to play.

I covered the metal with my finger to change tone of the song. The song played on the music box was called "close to you".
