A short, whooshy sound for use during a cinematic transition to a flashback or something. I made it for my short film and it was very useful, so i thought i'd share for free.

An imaginary steam-powered machine runs up to speed and slows to a halt. Html. Flstudio 3x osc noise was used as a hissing sound similar to venting of high pressure steam. The hiss is granulated to simulate a slight sputtering effect. As the machine tempo increases, lf rumble is introduced to evoke the notion of a rolling load. The rumble dies away as the machine slows down. 100% synthesised sound. No audio sample is present in this recording.

Artificial waterfall sound created using audacity. I created two brownian noise tracks and assigned one to the left channel and one to the right for a stereo effect. Using brownian noise means less high frequency noise that is harsh on the ears.

This is my voice recorded on my akg c-214 condenser microphone. In adobe audition i used effects>time and pitch>stretch and pitch (process), changing stretch to 83. 21% and semitones to 3. 58 to achieve a close approximation to the minions.

For this sound, i generated a square wave at a frequency of 440 hz and an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. Repeat3- compressor (x2)4- fade in (half of the sound)5- fade out ( the other half of the sound)6 - phaser with 10 phases7 - paulstretch with the stretching factor=5 and resolution = 0. 258- echo with 1 second delay , decay factor=0. 59 - cut (to arrange the sound). After all this effects, the sound is like a sound recorded in space with echos.

Blip trails: c2 note, random blip sounds with fast attacks and short trails using massive. Sampled into ableton with just a touch of reverb to help the trail smooth out, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random parameters in massive, and very little other effects used. I recorded a mouth noise. I add reverberation effect where i pick a big room size and a reverberation of 50%. Then, i add a melt opening. I generated a risset drum to create my ringtone.
