Cinematic impact. Dark, distorted, large, powerful. Original samples made using an acoustic guitar as a resonator for an electric bass, and recorded using a zoom h4n. Processing includes layering, reversing, amp simulation, distortion, delay and reverb. Recorded for my personal a sound a day challenge (asoada).

A full drum beat made by me. At 140bpm.

Sound recorded near the wood stack in my aunt's stone barn. Reverb due to a 130cm 600l metal basin reverberating near by. Here all the recordings, some recorded near the log, some mid way, some close to the basin. The imo best impact sound is also uploaded individually here : https://freesound. A fairly harsh and slightly clipped sample of foley artistry to create a heavy "shockwaving" impact. You may notice that this is the layering sound of skewer slam.
