Walking softly on the snow covered ground in the early morning.

Swiss forest, sunny winter morning, on a small mountain. The cracks and other falls are due to the snow that melt in the sun and fell from the top of the trees. It was beautiful. Recorded in stereo with h5n, and processed a little bit to reduce the wind.

A high quality recording with a solid collection of various snow footstep sounds. There's sounds of slow walking, fast walking, running, jumping and kicking the snow. You should be able to get pretty much all you need for a game or a film in this recording regarding feet and snow. Recorded with a zoom h2 at 96 khz / 24-bit, truncated and saved to flac using audacity. I left some silence n the start if you want to denoise it yourself, but i think it shouldn't be necessary. It was really quiet.

Field recording with my new zoom h1n. A walk from work to the place des art metro station, waiting for the metro, and riding it home from work. It's been a while since i had a good recorder.

An ice storm moves in to the deep woods of north carolina on 01/30/2014. As the small particles of ice and sleet fall through the pine trees, they land on a bed of pine straw on the ground below. This is that sound. It's cold, solitary, and gives you a feeling of total isolation. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.
