This is my cat charlotte recorded with two yamaha pocketrak recorders placed in front of a peavey bandit 65 amp set on reverb. I used an audio-technica mic to record her meow's and ended it with her motor boat purr. :^)if you use it please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
Just a purring cat, recorded with a zoom h6 with the x/y mic. It starts out a little soft and then gets more bass heavy as the cat approaches the mic. Unfortunately there is some audible cloth movement, but i guess it could still be of good use.
My cat runs over to me to be petted but then acts all irritated that i'm petting her. So i stop. And she demands to be petted more. I can't figure her out.
These cats were going nuts in the alley outside my window. The echoy, warberly sound comes from running a noise reduction function, as there was a lot of hiss in the unprocesses file.
This is an unusual cat purring track. The cat (his name is squeek) has a rather high, loud vocal range. Try the eq'd version catpurr01lp if you want something closer to normal. Edited and noise reduction via audacity. Enjoy- i think squeek did.
A cat groaning outside at the presence of another cat. Somewhat disturbing sound to other felines. Has some background hiss from urban machinery and traffic.
A chaotic sample of barking dogs and meowing cats from an animal shelter in the morning. Doppler effect makes sample warble like magnetic tape at the beginning.
Daisy is an adopted formerly-feral cat who goes through phases of hey-ya-know-i'm-wild. Shove a recorder at her and she responds with a hiss. Do it twice, and she'll certainly draw blood. I didn't.
