Recording made at the window on the "hotel praia de lobos" right in the middle of vila do porto on santa maria island. There, in santa maria, the crickets are unstoppable!!.

Grasshoppers, wind, light splash of water. Ideal for ambient and creating a relaxing evening atmosphere in nature. Recorded in the countryside on the phone, so there are no sounds of cars, people talking, and so on.

I recorded this in my backyard at dusk in july of 2010. As night falls, the cicadas start up, the birds die off, and you can hear owls if you listen closely enough. Also a few sounds of traffic and briefly can hear the neighbor kids.

A lone cricket appeared in my room, so i decided to record it before letting it out. Small chirping for about a minute. There is a light amount of background noise, since i decided not to do noise reduction myself and just leave it raw, since i didn't want to distort the cricket sound.

Walking on an old dirt road on a summer night, i stopped to record the sound of the bushcrickets. As i searched for this sound before on freesound but wasn't satisfied with the results, i thought i'd share it with you. At a friend’s garden at night (23h00). Les ravières (center of france) , 2019/5/26. Recorded by an olympus ls 100, flat, countryside mood with lots of crickets (le « grillon bourbonnais »). The sound is edited as you can loop it.
