Watchtower in overloon (small dutch village) is made completely of steel. The sound comes from walking down the stairs inside. Recorded with a smartphone, wich gives it an even more spooky effect.
I needed the sound of a sign rattling violently in the wind, so i manufactured this with a piece of corrugated metal that had been screwed onto a piece of wood fretwork. I rattled it against a wood box in front of the mic.

It's supposed to be the sound of something hitting something metal, but it was made with the sound of me whacking a metal pipe with a pencil and a bit of editing on the computer.
It sounds like a the last few strokes of a saw going into a rusted metal pipe with water on the inside. It's actually the sound of pulling closed my sink stopper. . . Go figure.
