Submerge yourself in this story i wrote and designed. Wear your earphones to be blown away! poem was written by me and the textures were self made too (you can see in my other audios the credits) this was my final exam for the course of sound design, and i loved it. Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. Direct recording of my jackson sl-3 soloist electric guitar through a line 6 pod x3, using its internal reverb effects. (large hall reverb with decay at 99%, or maybe even 100% for that endless washed out effect).

I accidentally came up with this sound when i was remixing one of my favorite songs on audacity. It sounds like a whole bunch of computer software and techy stuff sparking, beeping and crackling. Would be great for a movie introduction if it was overlayed with soundtrack. This is experimental so i would appreciate if you play with it and send it back to me; that's the point of creative commons, right? please comment and rate.

The sound of altered states.

This sound was created with layering and frequency processing. Bpm 120.

Recorded with my epi sg through the walrus slo pedal on dream setting into the focusrite 2i2 interface and into reaper. The bass was recorded with a squier mini-bass through a behringer bxl1800 amp and into reaper. Did a pitch change on the guitar and no quantizing as i like the 'push/pull' feel of the human tempo. May add some percussion down the line. A shout out to kenny gioia for the reaper tutorials. He's the man. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thank. :-).
